Why We Built Slynk
Before Slynk, our founders spent years inside the employee benefits industry. They watched organizations pour money into wellness programs that measured success by how many people signed up, not by how many people actually got healthier. They saw HSA programs that gave employees money with no mechanism to encourage the preventive behaviors that would reduce future healthcare costs.
The technology to verify health behavior existed. Apple Health and wearable devices were generating rich, accurate data about what people were actually doing. But no one had built the infrastructure to connect that data to employer incentive programs in a way that was simple, secure, and scalable.
That is what Slynk does. We connect the health data employees are already generating to the incentive budgets employers are already spending. The result is a system where healthy behavior is verified and rewarded automatically, creating accountability that benefits everyone involved.
